Google Hub Max Quick Gestures

Leroyisourking

Hi.  I recently set up a Hub Max and quick gestures were working fine.  For some reason they have stopped though and I can't work out why.  Hopefully someone can help!

They are turned on in the Recognition and Settings folder of the app but when I swipe up and go to settings in the hub the only options I have are Device Information, Bluetooth, Display and Photo Frame.

Many thanks in advance!

Use the switch on the back and turn the camera off and back on to see if that fixes it.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  Sadly it doesn't.  I also tried the classic unplugging and replugging in, without success!

Hi folks,

@kiltguy2112, thanks for the help.

@Leroyisourking, that certainly isn't the experience we want you to have with our devices. We're here to help. Check the steps provided below and see the status of the quick gestures:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Google Nest display.
  2. Open the Google Home app .
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings  > Recognition & sharing > Recognition & personalization.
  5. Turn Quick Gestures on or off.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan
