Google Hub Max won't play music.

All of a sudden my Google Hub Max will not play music. It will play it if I ask to play it on my chrome cast through my TV. However it will not play on the google hub max itself. I have reset and reinstalled the device and this did not fix the issue.

At fist it just had a black screen and now it just comes up with search results if I ask it to play a song. I have checked and it is linked to my Youtube subscription. I can still play songs on my other speakers.

Is anyone else having this issue?

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. Could you check the My activity and notice the command that your Google assistant recognizes and its responses? You can send us a screenshot of it so we can see it too. Below are the steps on how to check the My Activity and how to upload a photo.

Check your Google Assistant activity history:

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. At the top right, tap your account.
3. Tap My Activity .

Upload a photo:

1. Start a new post.
2. Click Insert Image.
3. Choose an image source location.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions

Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.
