Are you using the original power supply and adapter that came with your device? Try these steps:

  1. Try plugging in the device to a different power source.
  2. Attempt a factory data reset. On the back of the device, press and hold both volume buttons together for 10 seconds.

Let us know how you get on!

Tied all of this. Spent one hour and three minutes with Google Help Desk. Zero results.

Hi Lou6557,

That certainly isn’t the experience we want you to have with your Nest Hub. We appreciate your patience in doing the troubleshooting steps and would like to have you do a bit more.

Please follow the steps below and see if that works:

  1. Try to put the device in recovery mode with these steps:
    • Unplug the power cord.
    • Hold down the volume buttons and plug in the power cord at the same time.
    • Wait for the device to turn on.
    • Release the volume buttons.
  2. Once the device is in recovery mode, attempt an FDR.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks for helping, davidking and dawInMN!

Best,

Dan

Check the IPV6 setting on your router. The hubs require that IPV6 is available after it updates to fuchsia.
