Google Hub won't play BBC

My Google Nest Hub has stopped playing BBC news saying, "Sorry. Something went wrong. Give it another try. Try again later."

I have reset my router and my devices and it still won't work. The unit was working fine and today is having issues.

I see this was an issue in the past and looks like it may need to be read dressed. Thank you.

Hi @Artemiss54,

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Google Nest Hub won't play BBC News. I'm happy to help!

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a question:

  • Do you want to play any BBC radio station?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

  • Be specific with your wording: Try using a phrase like Play [radio station name]. This might help your Google Nest Hub understand you want the radio broadcast. Refer to this article: Listen to radio on your Google Nest Hub.
  • Unlink and relink: Unlink and then relink your radio service. You can find instructions in this article: Link and unlink your radio services.
  • Restart your device: A simple restart can sometimes resolve minor glitches. Follow these steps to reboot your Google Nest Hub.
  • Try Another BBC News Source: If you can play other BBC news sources on another device, the inconvenience might be specific to the BBC News app.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

Melany
