I had the same problem reading the forum I found this solution which worked for me.
1.- Place the device in Recovery Mode (unplug the device then hold down (long press) the volume up and volume down buttons while you plug in the device. Release the volume button once the device turns back on.)

Does not work for me I have every solution posted to date and none work. I wanna know if we're getting a replacement or an upgrade seeing on how it's their fault 100s of people's family devices ( we have ours at kitchen table so kids can look up things they need or read reminders, ect). I'd like to know before I end up switching over to Alexa for some reason she seems to just work better maybe she can't do as much but she does what she does do without as much setup hassle or link issues Google
