Google Keep with Google Assistants in household with multiple users

How do I use my five Google Assistants (three of them have displays, two are the Google Assistant speaker-only) to respond to all users in my household so that they can all add to the shared Google Keep shopping list?

The Google Assistants are all connected to my Google account, although all other household members have their own Google accounts too.

When they talk to the Assistants they are notified that they need to setup Voice Match, which I have turned on for all Assistants and have had them all do Voice Match. Yet, my voice is the only voice that Google Assistants will recognize, thus I'm the only person who can add to the shopping list using an Assistant. For now, the other household members launch Google Keep on their phones and add shopping list items the old fashioned way

I’m having the same issue. When I’m near the device, and it has recognized me, it will only then allow someone else to add to the grocery list.

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. You can add people to help manage a list. When you add a collaborator, anyone with access to the list can add, remove, purchase items, or leave the list.

To add collaborators,do the following steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. At the top-right, tap the account icon.
  3. Verify the Google Account on screen is the one linked to the speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap the down arrow icon and then choose another account or Add another account .
  4. Go back to the home screen, then tap Settings .
  5.  Scroll down to Services, then tap Notes and lists and then Shopping lists. Note: If asked, choose an app to open your lists.
  6. To view your lists, at the top left, tap Menu Menu.
  7. Tap the list you want to share and then Share.
  8. Enter a name or email, or scroll through the contact lists. The person being added appears under Shared with.
  9. Tap Save.

The person should receive an email where they can agree to be part of the shared list.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Juni
