Google Mini replies after every voice command

Around a week ago my Google Minis have started responding to every voice command I issue to control music/radio/podcasts.  For example, when I ask it to stop playing on my "home" speaker group, it responds by saying "Stopping Home".  Similarly, when I ask it to play the next track in a playlist, it responds with "Playing the next on Home".  Previously the speakers acted on the commands without responding.

Any ideas on how I can stop hearing these responses?

Thanks for posting. Currently, there is no option to turn off or on repeating commands from Google Assistant. We appreciate people who are keen on sharing their thoughts with us.
