Play BBC radio 4 - in Spain

I have owned several nest minis for some three years, each morning I say "Play BBC Radio 4" and get the response "Streaming BBC Radio4 from the BBC". 

Since the 5th October 2023 this has not been working. I get the response but no Radio 4 playing. If I repeat the command several times (random number) then sometimes it does start playing but mostly not.

I am located in Tenerife, Canary Islands. I have tried using one of the hubs in a friends house but that has no effect, so I am assuming that the error is not with me, nor with my network. 

I can use BBC sounds on my Android phone, so it would appear as in the connectivity from the UK to Tenerife is fine.

I have contacted the BBC but as yet have not received a reply.

I have done all the usual things, reboot, reset etc, so I must assume that the problem is between the BBC and google. Hmm. Two big organisations that are unlikely to respond, hey ho, no more Radio 4 in the morning then. 😞

All BBC stations are the same, they don't work.
The BBC has responded with the disappointing standard reply, reboot your nest...

Hi there,

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Could you also provide us with the firmware version of your Nest Mini’s. Check out the steps below on how to get it.

1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
2. Open the Google Home app .
3. Tap your device's tile.
4. At the top right, tap Settings Device information.
5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.

I have seven nest minis, they are all using the same firmware: 375114 and the same cast firmware: 2.57.375114

And yes they are all using the same linked account 😉

As of this morning 12th October 2023 the nests have all started working again with no intervention from me. So as I suspected some external change has occurred. The shame here is that it is impossible for a humble user such as myself to get themselves heard. Thank you Juni for your questions.
