Google Nest Audio, Samsung TV and Youtube

Hej,
i got myself a Google Nest Audio yesterday, as i have already been using my Google Assistant on the Phone. I noticed yesterday, while cooking, that it would be neat to be able to control my Samsung Q70A via Google Nest, if have dirty hands but my son wants to watch some kids show.

Unfortunatly, it seems that i can only controll the TV with very basic commands...i can turn it on/off, adjust volume and open apps (Disney+, Youtube), but i cannot tell the TV to "play Spidey on Disney+ on TV", as the system then tells me that it needs the name of the device it streams too.

I am reading up on things now and it seems that Chromecase would solve the issue...but i am unsure, can someone maybe elaborate a bit more, if after installing chromecast on the samsung tv, i can tell Google Nest to start playing a series or video on the tv?

Hey Phantagor,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

My apologies for the delayed response. I understand how convenient it is to be able to play anything on your TV with a simple voice command. To confirm, is your TV cast-enabled or is there an external Chromecast device connected?

To play movies on your TV using your Google Nest Audio, please try using the following keywords: "Hey Google, play Spidey from Disney+ on ." For all other commands, please refer to this link for more information.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi
