I am turning to community forum because I have attempted to speak to Nest tech support and got nowhere. Spent 2 hours bouncing back and forth to five different associates and was given no answer.
Has anyone had issues with their Google Nest HUB MAX with live video or recorded video when it comes to audio? I have a feeling there is an issue with the microphone when it is recording objects moving across the camera. There are popping and crackling noises every time someone speaks.
Let me make it very clear for everyone, the SPEAKER is not making the noises. The noises are on the Google Home App while viewing either live video from the camera or from past recordings. It makes the audio distorted and unable to hear what others are saying when they speak.
These are what I have attempted-
1. Factory Reset....several times over and over and no changes happen.
2. Moved the HUB MAX closer to WIFI router, no changes happen.
3. Reset WIFI router and all MAC addresses attached to it, no changes happen.
4. Uninstalled all associated Apps including Google Home and Nest and reinstalled, no changes happen.
5. Changed settings to remove Ultrasound sensing, no changes happen (Multiple people were confused as what I was asking about when it comes to "crackling and popping sounds" thinking it was coming from the speaker. It is not, and no changes happen.
So with all that in mind, is anyone having the same issue and have you found a way to fix it. I would greatly appreciate anyone's input. Thank you!
