Hi,
my google nest hub 2 screen has mostly black screen with vertical white stripes on the sides. It was working otherwise properly and i still can cast music on it. As the screen is not visible, I hard reset thinking the screen may revert to healthy state but could not link due to the code being invisible. While factory resetting i saw black screen with horizontal green lines.

Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the issue:
1. Check for External Issues:
Make sure there is no physical damage to the screen or connectors. Sometimes, a loose cable or connector can cause display issues.
If the device was dropped recently, it may have caused internal damage.
2. Power Cycle:
Unplug the device from power.
Leave it unplugged for about 10-15 minutes.
Plug it back in and see if the issue persists.
3. Try a Soft Reset (if possible):
Hold down the volume button on the back of the device for about 10 seconds.
The device may restart itself, and this can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
4. Check Google Support:
If the issue continues, it may be a hardware failure. Since the device is still responding to casting music, the core functions seem intact, but the screen may need repair or replacement.
Contact Google Support for warranty or repair options. If the device is still under warranty, they may offer a replacement or repair.
5. Repair or Replacement:
If your device is out of warranty, you may need to consider professional repair services or replacing the unit if the cost of repair is high.
Unfortunately, given that you can’t see the screen properly, it’s likely a hardware issue that will require some level of repair or replacement.
