Pixel Tablet & Dock not correctly added to Google Home

I saw that both the dock and the tablet were shown as offline in the Google Home app.

I tried to remove them and add them back but now only the tablet is found and while you can place it in a Home and Area in the Google Home app it's no longer shown in the area selected. The dock is never found.

I tried uninstalling Google home from the phone and tablet and unplugging the dock but no luck.
