Google Nest Hub 2nd Generation wrong language

Hello, i just got the Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen. I unboxed it and was going to set it up but it shifts between french and german in the setup. I used translate to do the setup as i thought i could change the language after i was done. Im swedish so i want it to be in swedish. The assistant function works fine but everything on the screen is in german. I tried re-intalling it after holding the volume buttons and i got it to work in swedish but after about an hour it was back to german again. What can i try?

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. Let’s check what’s going on.

A few questions: what language are you using on your phone? Do you have a secondary language added to your Google Assistant settings? If so, could you remove the other languages and just use Swedish?

Give these steps a try:

1. Change the language on your phone to Swedish. 
2. Open the Google Home app .
3. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial Assistant settings Assistant Languages.
4. Choose a language.
   • To change the primary language, tap your current language.
5. Reboot your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen).
