Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my Google Nest Hub. The screen stays black, but I can still hear the voice responses when I say “Ok Google.” On the right side of the display, there’s a persistent white vertical stripe.
I’ve already tried performing a factory reset by holding down both volume buttons for about 10 seconds, but the problem remains. I also tested the device with the original power adapter and a different outlet, but there was no improvement.
Has anyone experienced this before? Could it be a display/backlight failure, or is there another troubleshooting step I could try before considering repair/replacement?

Mine does the same as of last week. But I have zero on screen response. Looking for answers also. It’s a useless item now.

hi Jennifer. My system is the Google nest hub max. Only one model number? The issue I have is that it just went dark. Nothing. Brick. Nothing happened to it, just sitting next to my bed and stopped working. I have another so I used that power cord in case that was the issue. Still nothing. I tried the hard reset with the volume buttons. I just have no power to it. It can’t factory reset without power so I’m sort of stuck. Firmware27.20250422.103.3600
If you can help, I’d appreciate it.
