Hi there, hoping someone has some advice
Our Google Nest Hub Max camera auto-framing stopped working late last year. We just assumed it was due to the merging of Google Meet and Duo, but in the last week the camera completely stopped coming on at all during Duo calls.
The green light comes on as if though the camera is on, there is just no feed. Tried to flip the physical microphone button at the back but still no go.
Any ideas, is the camera busted?

Same issue here except a factory reset about 4 times was to no avail. Tried different methods as found on this forum and nothing helped. This is beyond ridiculousness. It’s hours of valuable time wasted. Got a new WiFi router so my info was changed - another 5 hours down the drain mainly for only google products (about 8 in all) between connecting to WiFi wait time or resetting it completely to get my camera working on the hub. Amazon’s products - no problem. Windows devices - easy. One apple product shared the WiFi for all nearby devices. Even generic products not completely popular on the market was faster to set up (WyZe cams and smartbulbs) It was only - and I mean only, Google devices that really sucked the life and time out of me. Frustrated so going to live without the hub max nest cam feature. Duo works, at least.

If your Google Nest Hub Max camera is not working, refresh the device and check the network status. Check the firmware version and ensure proper camera settings on the Nest Hub Max. If none of these work, remove and re-add the Nest device from the Google Home app

Hey Looper,
Sweet! Happy to hear that factory resetting the device resolved the issue and thanks for keeping us in the loop. Let us know if you have additional questions and concerns about your device, and we'll be glad to help.
@Nmer: To confirm, is this a first-time set up? Have you tried setting up your device on a new home structure?
@WillJoe123: We appreciate your help!
Cheers,
Muddi
