Google Nest Hub con diversi BUG

AlessandroVasi

Buongiorno,

Grazie mille.

Hi AlessandroVasi,

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this situation with your Nest Hub device that is not answering in the correct language and not giving you the news. Don't worry, I can help. I just need to ask for some information to provide the best assistance.

  1. What is the exact model of Nest Hub that you have?
  2. Did you experience power outages recently?

In the main time, please try to use these recommendations. Here are some ways to talk to the Google Assistant on speakers and displays when choosing and listening to news reports and headlines:

  • Listen to news from a specific provider: "Listen to (the news from) [provider name]" or "Play (the news from) [provider name]."
  • Listen to the latest news about a specific news category: "What's the latest in sports?" or "Play business news."

Please let me know how that goes. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,

Jenny

Grazie mille.

Hi  AlessandroVasi,

Thanks for your reply and the information provided. I understand that you factory reset the Nest Hub 2nd Gen twice. In this case, you can try to add and update the Assistance Language.

Here is how:

Update Assistant language

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings, then Google Assistant, and then Manage all Assistant settings.
  3. Tap Languages and then Choose languages for speaking to your assistant, and then select the current language set.
  4. Choose the preferred language to use instead.

Add another language
If multiple people in the home speak different languages, you can set Google Assistant to understand multiple languages simultaneously.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings, then Google Assistant, and then Manage all Assistant settings.
  3. Tap Languages and then Choose languages for speaking to your assistant and then add a language.
  4. Choose the preferred language to add.

Please check that the languages match on your phone and in your Nest Hub. After these changes, try to ask for the news again, and we can see if the problem persists.

Keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,

Jenny

Hi Jenny,

I followed your details carefully and step by step.
The language was set to Italian only.
However, the device still speaks to me in English when I ask what time it is and it cannot transmit the news.
I am frustrated... I would like to resolve otherwise I am forced to switch to the competition. Is it not possible to have a new updated device?

Thanks very much!
