Google Nest Hub lowering volume to zero after 20 seconds

Hi there! 

Having an absolute nightmare with our Google home hub! Whenever I play music via the speaker, it will play perfectly fine for 15 - 20 seconds however after that time, the volume drops itself all the way to zero! 

 

I’ve rebooted reset and restarted and disconnected and reconnected all there is to disconnect and reconnect but to no avail! 

had anyone had similar issues

Yes same is happening to me, but only for one speaker, a google mini - second gen. All other speakers work, the only way i can get it to play is to cast from my phone otherwise it wont play music longer than ten seconds

Finally found out how to rectify this!

A factory reset seems to be necessary! Hold down the volume up and volume down button on the back of the unit at the same time for 10 seconds! You’ll have to re set up the hub but it did solve the volume change issues for me thankfully!
