Hi McB1,

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. What is the language and region set on Assistant Language Settings? Do these troubleshooting steps:

  • Open the Google Home app > Settings > Google Assistant > Voice Match > Teach your Assistant your voice again. Retrain your voice.
  • Remove and re-add your Quick phrases.
  • Guest mode should be off.
  • Reboot your Google Nest Hub Max.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex

Hi there,

I’m glad to hear that we’re able to fix the Quick phrases! Sure, let’s check on it. What’s the make of your smart lights? Do you have other smart devices in the Google Home app? Are they showing online?

Try to reboot your router, phone, and smart lights. Force close and re-open the Google Home app, and then command Google Assistant to “Sync my devices.”

Best,
Alex

I have 9 lights synced to Phillips Hue in the Google Home App.I also have 3 Google Assistants,Hue Bridge,a smart TV in my living room and a TV in my master bedroom all on the Google Home App.I've taken all the steps you reccomended with the exception of rebooting my lights.I'm not sure as to how to do that.Thx.

Hello McB1,

To confirm, they are Bluetooth-enabled Philips Hue lights, correct? Do you have another phone or tablet? Install the Google Home app and login to your account. Check if your Philips Hue lights are also showing offline. If it doesn’t, try these steps:

  • Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app on your phone.
  • Toggle Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings off and on.
  • Log in to the Google Home app. Command Google Assistant to “Sync my devices”.

Warmly,
Alex
