My baby loves "Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard." "Hey Google, play Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard." lights up his face. However, sometimes the speaker will randomly play the live version of the song, so one day I said, "Hey Google, block this song" to make sure my command always went to the album version. However, now it won't play ANY version of Me and Julio from the voice commands. I can still select the song on the Spotify app on my iPhone, choose the speaker, and play it that way. But using that voice command will prompt the speaker to say "okay, playing Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard on Spotify," but then it will instead play a random other song, usually another 70s folk song.
The album version of the song is in my "liked songs" playlist in the phone app and on the desktop app, so it's not blocked there. Can anyone think of what I can do to make the voice commands work for this song again? I rebooted the speaker, no difference.

Hello jmerchymerch,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
It's certainly frustrating if you're unable to play the songs you want, but it's okay, let's figure it out together.
Do you currently have a Spotify Premium subscription? It's important to keep track of your subscription as not having one could prevent your speaker from correctly selecting songs, since this is a Spotify Premium supported feature.
You can try asking Google Assistant to play the song by specifically saying, "Hey Google, play 'Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard' on Spotify."
I suggest unlinking or changing your default music service and following this article on how to Link your music services and set your default service. It's important to remove your connection from Spotify as well.
In the meantime, you can try a workaround by adding the song you specifically want to play to a playlist and asking the speaker to play that instead.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.
