Google Nest Mini has no sound but is fully connected and responsive

I've been trying to connect my Google Nest Mini all day. I've had it for a long time but lost the cord for a while and just found a cord so I've been trying to add it to my home. I have two other Google Home Minis but only one Nest Mini. The Home Minis work great. 

No matter what I do, I get NO sound from the speaker. No startup sound, no connected sound. no music either. It shows connected on both my Spotify and on Google Home app. Both apps show music playing and the volume is up on my phone but nothing from the speaker. I've factory reset it twice and rebooted it twice too and I've set it up as an entirely new device twice now. I'm really hoping that there is a fix for this and that it isn't just broken.

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. Is this how you factory reset your Google Nest Mini device? When you say the "Hey/OK Google" wake-up word, does it light up trying to listen to the next command?

Hi Alex, yes that's how I factory reset it every time. I just did it again too for good measure, nothing. Yes, it is responsive to commands and my voice. I even just asked it to pause my living room TV and it did, but still zero sound from the device.
