I've had this problem for a while, but I figured today was the day I will get resolved.
I have a Google Nest Mini that sits on my desk about 5 feet from my router, but about every three days it loses its wifi connection. I come in and say Hey Google and I get a response "I can't find the wifi network. You might want to check the modem or router connections." I have tried resetting the router, creating an isolated 2.4 GHz SSID moving the location of the Nest Mini to a different room, but it still loses its connection and I have to do a hard reset.
I am now on my fifth reset this month, so I am turning to the experts for help. I don't have any problems setting it up (except for the repetitiveness). It's just keeping the connection that is the problem.

Try to observe whether your assigned IP has changed after your nest mini got disconnected. It could also be affected by how fast your IP is refreshed.

So far so good! I gave it an IP address instead of rooting around in the DHCP pool and it seems to have solved the problem, but I want to give it a few more days. (I also discovered that the DHCP lease was only 12 hours, so a couple of things going on.)
