Google Nest - No longer playing streaming services

Over the last week or so, my Google Nest devices are no longer playing Disney+ or Hulu. I have tried to relink my accounts, hard resets on my devices, deleting and reinstalling the app and even removing the device from the app. However, now I am stuck with not being able to even relink my devices back to my account. There is no QR code, and when I search it just spins and never finds anything. I DO NOT want to have to swap to using Amazon because I have always used Google devices in my home, but I am afraid if I don't find a solution fast this is going to be my only option. I use my Google devices daily and just want them to work properly again. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't stream Hulu either. I don't know if it has to do with the Disney/YouTube TV dispute or not.

Having the same issue. Can't get Disney+/Hulu/Netflix to play. Music services working just fine. But not video streaming services.

YouTube TV still works for me, but I'm trying to find an alternative so I can dump YTTV because of the Disney dispute. I need the ESPN channels and YTTV is useless without them. Actually, the Nest displays are useless for me without me being able to stream ESPN, college football, and F1.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I'm sorry to hear that you are running into issues with your Google Nest devices no longer playing Disney+ or Hulu. I appreciate that you have already performed some initial troubleshooting, and I'm happy to assist you further.

To provide the best assistance, could you please tell me:

  • When did the issue start?

  • What type of Google Nest devices are having problems?

I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Gabriela

It started within the past week or two and it's happening on all of my nest hub 2s. I have four of them, 3 won't play the streaming services and the 1 I tried to remove and re-add wont let me add it back.

Started the past two weeks or so. It's on all my nest hub 2's, I have two of them. Sporadically it will play a stream service maybe once through the day then nothing. Disney+/Hulu/Netflix all sporadically. Spotify not at all. Rebooted all. Signed out and back into each service. Rebooted our router. Also, the assistant on hub is either so slow at understanding/processing speak or jumps to an action LONG before you finish speaking. Have adjusted the voice recognition sensitivity multiple times and not helping. It's insanely frustrating to have to be yelling at the top of ones lungs "HEY GOOGLE!"

Google is just so great with informing customers about questions, issues and how to /when they will be resolved. Issue was posted 11/7,  Community Specialist does nothing but ask when it started on 11/10 and there is no search i have done that provides an answer to the issue on 12/28. Good job google

Same.....Trying to stream Pandora. No issues for as long as I have owned this device.

Command: Hey Google, Play XYZ on Pandora.

Response: Here's ABC on Hulu.  WTH?

Not Happy.

I have 3 Nest hubs and they won’t play music. I have Spotify and Apple Music and neither work. My wife’s pixel 10 won’t connect with Spotify Connect either but my iPhone will. It started about 2 weeks ago on all displays simultaneously. I’ve done all the troubleshooting steps including factory resets but nothing has helped.

Only YouTube and Spotify work for me, no Disney/Netflix/HBO. Weirdly the HBO app works fine, I can login and play e.g. trailers. but only when I play paid content it gets stuck. Could there be something off in either some video format, or some authentication protocol for paid steaming services?
