Google Nest - Photo frame wont change

Ltrol

No matter what I do, nest won't change from the boring default images to any other setting. Trying to set Google Photos with no luck at all, tried everything possible.

Why does Google have literally no support?

Hello Ltrol,

Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.

Here's some steps on how you can manage the photos in your photo frame on your Google Nest display:

Use the Google Home app

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Photo Frame and then adjust the settings you want.

Use your Nest display screen

  1. From the bottom of your Nest display screen, swipe up.
  2. Tap Settings .
  3. Tap Photo Frame and then adjust the settings you want.

If you have Voice Match enabled, you can also say "Hey Google, change Photo Frame" to open Photo Frame settings on your Nest display.

Once you've made these changes, reboot both your Google Nest display and router simply by unplugging the devices for a few minutes. Once plugged, check if the photos you've selected are displayed.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Princess

I bought 6 for Christmas. They’re having the same problems. Hope it’s a glitch and will be fixed soon

Hi Jturnerwnc,

Thanks for posting. Have you tried the steps provided by Princess? You can also try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest display.

Regards,

Juni
