Google Nest Speakers Giving Unsolicited Feedback - Sassing Me!

E-from-O-Town

After several happy years, today I unplugged all my google speakers and put them in box for the garage sale. I have no use for Tech that decides on upon its own to provide commentary on what I say in my own house.  Google I don't give a #%$&#@ if you don't like my language or the words I use. HAL you are not!  See ya.

I would love to read your professional feedback as to why Google feels the need interject their idea of a moral compass into the reply algorithms.  But I understand if your overlords dictate what you are allowed , or  not allowed to say in these forums, and company policy most likely prohibits Google from being truly honesty with their "product base". Because let's face it, with these devices we become the product, and less the customer.  Ad I doubt you are really " sad" per se to see me go.  Prove me wrong..

You see, the thing is, I can live without Google. In fact, I can live quite well without Google in my life at all.  Google needs to wake up, or you risk going the way of MySpace, AltaVista, WebCrawler, etc..  It's been done before. Again, prove me wrong, because I'm about to prove me right.

Hi there,

We'll definitely take this as feedback, and we'll ensure that we learn from it to be able to deliver a better experience in the future.

Regards,

Juni

Hello E-from-O-Town,

We appreciate your feedback and it’s an idea that we all hope to be available in the future. In the meantime, we’d like to encourage you to send a feedback for any features that you’re looking forward to using with our Google Nest devices.

Let us know if you have questions, otherwise we'll be locking the thread in 24 hours.

Best,

Princess

The replies really didn't say anything or help at all.  Might as well been from Kamala Harris. Since my OP, I have removed all of my Google speakers from common areas of my house.  Now I no longer randomly receive unsolicited or corrective feedback from "God Google".
