Google Nest has no sound this morning.

Hello,

my google nest is silent this morning. It seems to work correctly but there is no sound coming out off it. It start this only morning.

Thanks for bringing this up with us. We'd love to help.

 

A few questions: which Google Nest device are we working with? Is there no audio from your device for all of your voice commands? Have you tried turning the volume all the way up? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

 

Check if your Google Nest device still hears your voice commands. Here's the step: open the Google Home app > Tap on your Account icon at the top right > Choose My Activity and scroll down to see if your recent voice commands are inputted. Once done, perform a factory reset since it might help get the device working. You can follow the steps in this support article: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays.
