I do not have a YouTube Music Premium subscription. Yesterday, my Google Nest Mini stopped responding to my requests to play my uploaded, owned music.
Prior to yesterday, I could play particular artists from my library via the command, "Hey Google, play [artist name]." Google would respond, "OK, playing songs by [artist name] from your YouTube music library." Yesterday and today, however, Google only says, "OK, check out this YouTube music station based on [artist name]" and will not play the songs from my library.
Is anyone else having this issue -- not being able to play music from your YouTube Music library (i.e., without having a paid YouTube Music Premium subscription) -- recently?

Hi @cinemacritic not sure how that happened unless it was a glitch or test but, you were not supposed to be able to play music from your library without a subscription.
Sometimes and no one here knows who, when or why but a test may have been pushed by accident or design or in error to some and just as quickly the same abilities disappear. Your current experience is the proper behavior for someone without a subscription.

No problem, it actually fixed itself after a couple of days and I haven't experienced the problem since.
