My Google Nest has decided to show a dark screen during daytime so I am unable to see my photos as it is too dark . I’ve tried adjusting it via the App but it won’t revert to how it should be during the day , any suggestions ?

Hi  Supermoon2016,

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

You can also check the color match settings and change the status to either never or always. Here’s how:

  1. Make sure the mobile device is linked to the same account as the Google Nest or Home device.
  2. Open the Google Home App.
  3. Select the Nest Hub display.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings > Display > Color matching.
  5. Under the Color matching section, choose to Never/Always.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Dan
