Google Voice not an option under “video & voice apps” in Google Home app

Why does the Google Voice app not show under “video & voice apps” in communication settings in the Google Home app? The only option I am given is Google Meet, but I do not want to make audio calls through Google Meet.

• Do you have an active Google Voice number associated with the same Google Account used in the Google Home app?
• Have you tried force-closing the Google Home app and checking if Google Voice appears after a restart?

Yes, I am located in the US and, yes, I am using my personal Google account. Google Voice number is linked to my Google account and I have tried restarting the app.

I have been told from other sources Google Voice is no longer an option. Is this true?
