Why is there no way to turn off Assistant confirmations?? I want to set up routines to play music with out assistant saying “OK, playing xxxxx”. It’s very annoying.
Also why can’t I set the speaker that the routine should play music on?? I initiate a routine from the button on my Google Home app on my iPhone. It starts my Roomba which is in my dining room. I am trying to get the routine to also play The Best by Tina Turner on my dining room nest mini speaker. But it plays on my bedroom speaker. If I initiate the routing verbally on the dining room speaker it says “Ok, playing The Best by Tina Turner on Spotify” which is very annoying. Considering getting rid of my nest speakers and getting Apple speakers…

In routines you can mute the Assistant for say 10 seconds as the introduction is being played and then you increase the volume for the music.
Only certain triggers require a speaker to be specified in the Automation. Or you could add the name of the speaker into the custom command.
I made a YouTube video to create Spotify playlists to be played on a specific speaker...

Usually people voice their commands to the speaker they want to hear the music from.
