Hey there!
I have a few pairs of Google Nest Hub 2nd Generation devices scattered throughout my home, and for the past month, they’ve been refusing to play my playlists. Whether it’s my personal YouTube Music playlists or specific public community playlists, nothing seems to work. I’ve tried using direct voice commands and setting up routines, but they just keep playing random playlists instead.
I first noticed something was off when the Nest Hub started saying, “Playing [playlist name] on YouTube Music,” especially when I’d ask it through a routine. Before, it would just jump right into playing the music without any announcements. The only playlist that plays correctly is an old one I created ages ago, but even that’s weird—despite any modifications I’ve made, it keeps playing songs from the original version like it’s stuck in its memory.
This whole situation is incredibly frustrating, especially since I work remotely and rely on these devices to keep the music going for my kids while they learn, play, and get ready for bed.
If anyone has tips or solutions, I’d love to hear them! Thanks!
Note: I subscribe to YouTube Premium.
