I have speakers and displays throughout my house. They’ve always worked fine, now in my bedroom none will respond. The display says answered by another device. I haven’t heard any other device respond. I’ve restarted them all. Same issue. How do I get it to respond in the same room? This really shouldn’t be an issue.

Sorry to hear about this experience. Could you please tell us how many Google Nest speakers are set up in your home? How far are these speakers from each other and your router?
Let's try first rebooting your router simply by unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes. By doing this, we can eliminate network congestion and it will refresh your network settings. As soon as everything is all back, try to command your devices and see if there would be any changes on its behavior.
