Google home Hub offline mode?

Guztav

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if there is anyway to make a hub be local or offline, internet sometimes goes away and well, with it all my "smart"device.

It'd be amazing if I could keep a local chain with at least a limited amount of commands. Cause having to get into those places where is almost impossible to reach to turn a light on just blows, also if be nice to be able to play NAS media if you are offline.

Thank you in advance everyone and be safe out there.

Hi @Guztav no there isn't. The devices require a secure personal WiFi connection and access to your cloud account to work. I do believe that alarms sound if internet connections are lost, but that may have changed.
