Google home app-tap to pause not working

Ive read other posts about the pause not working and tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and it still does not work.

I wish I could attach a photo or video! Basically, I open the app and try to click pause device and it won’t 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Caseyriitano, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with pausing your devices. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

• When did the issue start?
• Have you checked if there's an update for the Google Home app?

I noticed it about a month or so ago and scheduled pauses won’t work either
