Google home assistant history missing items

In Canada, I've noticed that Assistant activities no longer shows all my activities in history: I would ask Google Home speaker 'What time is it', Google Home speaker would answer it, but it won't show up in the history anymore (Where what was said shows un in blue). Only items in history now are things like "You viewed 3 cards" or "Rang an alarm" I tried resetting device, etc. but it still doesn't show. It used to show until near mid October : Has there been some policy updates in for my region? App update I didn't notice? I checked all settings, there is no auto-deletion set up, etc.  I would very much like to continue viewing the history of 'commands' sent to my home devices using Google home assistant.  I have a variety of google speakers and  nests around the house, issue seems to be with the google home APP(?).  THX!

Thanks for posting in our community.

I understand how confusing it can be when suddenly the history of your devices is no longer displayed. Don’t worry though; let’s figure out what’s going on.

In order for the history to show, it’s important that you make sure some settings are turned on in the activity control settings. You might already have been asked to turn on these settings when you set up your Google Assistant; please make sure you turn them on by following these steps.

On your device go to your Google account. Then toggle on the following:

• Web and app activity.
• App info from your devices.

If these settings are already turned on, I suggest you toggle them off, ask your speakers some questions, and monitor your history to make sure it is showing up once again.

Hi!

Thanks for the response. I had not thought of 'rebooting' the history setting and was excited to give it a try.  I turned it off and went around various speakers giving them commands... obviously, nothing registered in the web and activities history. After about 20 minutes, I turned it back on, and checking the three checkmark for chrome history and activities, voice & audio activities, ad well as visual search history.  I went around to different speakers, asking them about weather, to play some tunes, to set alarms. 

Sadly, I have to report that none of these activities are showing. 

What is going on..???
