Don't laugh.  I want my google home to start my roomba when I say "Hey Google, Suck it up buttercup".  Is there a way to create a custom voice command like this?

I haven't had any responses, not sure if there is a resolution, really just want to create custom phrases for my google to trigger standard commands.

Hey Randy72758,

You can create custom phrases for the devices using IFTTT ("If this, then that"). I would be glad to help you get started on that. Since this is a separate company from Google, you would need to head over to their site and sign up.

I did also find a helpful article with more details on how to set that up. There are tabs in the article you can use depending on the device you are using. (Apple, Andriod, PC.) Please let me know if that helps, or if you have any other questions from here.

Best regards,

Jake
