Google home hub 7 in in demo mode

I bought a Google home hub 7 In from Walmart it says it's the demo mode has the red retail demo skew thing on it I initially thought that I could reset it and get it to normal but after I received it I tried to do a factory reset on it it will do nothing is there a way to get these out of demo mode or are places like Walmart selling these to be useless paperweights

Return it to Walmart. The demo device is not a full feature Google Hub and it is only to be used as a display model.
