Google home mini does not give pertinent results

Most of the time when I say Hey Google and then ask a simple question I get the response, sorry I don't have any information about that. Other times, I ask a question and the device says here you go but that is it, no answer. I have 3 devices and have the same problem on all devices. I have unplugged the devices and plugged them in again. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. The problem is not with my devices or connection. Those are both fine. 

I spent more than an hour on the phone with Google but they could not give me an answer.

What do I need to do? I can't believe I am the only one experiencing these issues.
