Google home not reproducing podcast

Hi,

I'm in italy and have a really weird problem with the podcast reproduction on any of my google home mini 1st gen that have in my house.

The problem seems the same as in this post.

Taking example of what asked for the same problem from @frances , I tryed to analyze (answer on red).

• Which devices do you have? (model name, generation number).  Google home mini 1st gen.
• Just confirming, is this podcast on the Google podcast app? Yes the podcast work as a charm on my google podcast app that is correctly linked on the google home app.
• Are you logged into the Google podcast app? yes
• Do other podcasts work? Or do none of them work? None of any podcast in the world seems to work on any of my google home mini (I have two).
• What error message are you getting? Sorry, I dont understand / Scusa non ho capito.
• Besides this issue, do your other voice commands work on your device? Yes, I use a lot to play music with deezer app in example or listen to internet radio with no problem at all.
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? I tried to factory reset the google home mini, but the problem remain the same.

We're sorry to hear about your experience in playing podcast to your Google Home Mini. I appreciate all the details you've shared as well as the steps you've done. Since you're located in Italy, let's go ahead and try to change your device's language to English US first and try playing the podcast to see if this will work. From there, we can isolate further if the issue only appears when using other language.

I tried to put English US (only language) and my Google home mini started to play podcast!

Now Im gonna check if using italian as second language make podcast still available.

Hi everybody,

seems to work with both languages set and now seems to work in italian also (strange right?).

Ok just a recap:

1. my google assistent account was set with 2 languages: English (UK) and Italian and there was no way to listen podcast;
2. just set to single lang English (US) seems solve the question;
3. Add the italian lang as second seems to work with both now;

To me seems that the bug is involved using the combo English (UK) + Italian.
