I can't tell much from your post about what might be going on, but you could try rebooting your Google Home by unplugging it for a minute or so.
If that does not help, you could resort to removing it from the Google Home app, performing a factory reset (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477), and then reinstalling it in the Google Home app.
