Google hub Max facial recognition issues morning routine

All of a sudden, when my hub max  sees anyone in my household in the morning, it displays, "good morning, [name]" but says, "hmm, something went wrong. Try again in a few seconds."

 

This started happening a few days ago. Looks like others are reporting it on Reddit as well..

  • When did the issue start?
  • Is everything updated? (Software, the operating system, or applications fully updated?)
  • Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps? (If so, please specify which ones.)

This is not a voice action but when the Google Home Max recognizes you first thing in the morning.  when the video camera sees your face the text on the screen says good morning but audio response with something went wrong though it’s trying to run a routine, but there’s no way set.
