After reading reviews, I bought a so called smart google hub
This thing is as dumb as dog poo..you have to do everything from home app on phone..it can't install from app store..the tiles cannot be removed..all it does it make idiots of people making them say, hey google, when all they have to do is tap the screen...
I want to organise the main screen to have control for lights and connected devices..but this horrid thing has the most useless tiles everywhere..haven't found one tile that has anything usefull or interesting..and the biggest joke I found was a rountine called at work..what a stupid idea that is..I am at work how can I possibly hear it tell me it is lunch time..google must use morons to program this thing..
Why does a so called smart device ,be unable to do anything itself..why isn't google home installed on the hub..can't be that hard..I thought the whole idea of this thing was a stand alone device..
I am going back to using a cheap tablet and phone for smart devices control..they are superior to this hub thing..and why doesnt it have battery..a cheap tablet has a battery as well.
Save money people, stay away from this hub thing until they make it actually smart.
Google the dumb hub

Having issues as well and google stated has to do with internet provider since it decides when it’s ready to function properly by turning the fan or light on when it decide to connect to internet stating it’s loading … so google trying to capitalize on people that by there home products and telling them they need google Wi-Fi as a solution because everything else it house works fine even your competitor Alexa always properly functioning in house at the same time.

this is the best review of nest hub, and i truly regret that i didn't read earlier.
the only thing nest hub can do is to display some photos. i wanted to use it as terminal for cameras, but it is useless, nest hub can't receive notification from nest cameras. indeed smart solution.

Hi Yaboyyrobb,
Sorry to hear that. Is there a way where you can try to connect it to a different network to see if this will work?

Yes it still does the same thing not doing any commands until you keep asking or wait until it gets stable connection to internet no other devices in household have issues.

Hey Yaboyyrobb,
To confirm, have you tried connecting your Nest Hub to a mobile hotspot? If yes, and you still have the same issue -- please fill out this form with all the needed information then let me know once done.
