Google keeps playing the same songs on repeat in the same order

Whenever I ask my best to play music from Spotify it plays the same songs over and over. My playlist is 6 days long and I have it on smart shuffle, so it shouldn’t repeat a song for weeks. I just moved from one room to another, and nest started at the same song and played the same order of songs after I had just listened for an hour. So effing irritating. Want to switch to Alexa if this **bleep** continues. What’s the deal?

You can refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest speaker or display.
