Google mini change default to Bluetooth speaker

If I play spotify on the mini itself, no issue. If I play spotify on my phone to my harman/kardon speaker, no issue. If I play spotify from mini to harmon/kardon, it has a pause or skip at the beginning of each song. Weird. Suggestions?

This is not the experience we want you to have; let us help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it a Google Home Mini or Nest Mini? Was it working before? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord from your router, followed by your Nest speakers, then your Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.
4. Try to play other music services or radio stations to see if the behavior persists.

Also, you can try the steps in this helpful guide by re-establishing the Bluetooth connection between your devices:

1. Unpair devices.
2. Pair and connect.
