Google nest and google assistant on phones, not updating shopping list

I ask Google assistant to add an item to shopping list.  The Google nest confirms and repeats back  "I've added item to the list called Shopping".

The item does not appear in the list on my devices.

I ask the google assistant what items are on my shopping list, and the item I asked to add is not in the list even though it confirmed that it was adding it to the list.

I've tried adding using the google assistant both through the Google Nest and mobile devices,  but the assistant is not adding items to the list.

Why is the assistant currently not adding items to the lists?

Hi Kina1969,

 

Thanks for sharing details about the issue. I know how challenging it is when some of the features on your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) are not working. Our team is aware of this and looking into this issue at hand. I'll make sure to update the thread as soon as I have more information to share. 

 

Please let us know the firmware version of your device and the Google Home app on your phone. Also, make sure to send feedback on your Nest Hub (2nd gen) by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," followed by the keywords: GHT3 Unable to add items to shopping list. There are several reports about a fix for this particular concern. Could you try to confirm if you’re now able to add items to your shopping list?

Hi Dan,  Thank you.  Yes the lists are now working.  Updating from the google nest max and other devices.
