Is there a way to get a Google Nest Hub Max back online remotely on the home app from my phone? Our phones are not connected to the same WiFi

Hello Beckhardt,

Thanks for reaching out to the Speakers and Displays Community forum.

Your phone needs to be on the same Wi-Fi network as your Google Nest Hub Max for you to be able to connect to it and make changes to it. You can, however, stream the live feed from your display's camera even when you are using a different connection.

I hope this answers your question.

Best,
Lovely

Thank you Lovely M the Hub finally got back online on its own after two days. I set this up in a vacation home for security. So getting back online remotely was important but not available.

Hi there Beckhardt,

Thanks for keeping me in the loop and I'm happy that your Google Nest Hub is up and running again. I'll take your experience as feedback. I'll also appreciate it if you can send one to our product team, which continuously improves the Google Home and Nest devices. You can visit this link for the steps.

Let us know if you have additional questions or concerns about your device; otherwise, I'll close the thread after 24 hours.

Kind regards,
Lovely
