Yeah - I’m getting the same, since about 1-2 months ago… sometimes it stops streaming after 10 minutes, sometimes after around 30 minutes, sometimes after around 1 hour.
If I instruct it to play again it works and keeps playing and sometimes also stops again after x minutes.
If I haven’t instructed it to stop playing in, say 20 minutes, before it stopped by itself, then I found that it can start again after several hours (which could be in the middle of the night 😠).
A year ago, you could not stop it at a later time, now you cannot let it play for long… annoying to say the least!
Sincerely,
Dennis

Hi Henk-hub2,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
I’m sorry to hear that your new Google Nest Hub 2 stops streaming TuneIn after a few minutes. Thank you for providing us with important details, such as the screen is still streaming, but there’s no sound, and it can be this way for half an hour until you command, "Ok Google, play Radio 1," which restarts the sound, but after a few minutes, the same inconvenience occurs. No worries, help is here.
Before I start further troubleshooting, let me ask you a few questions:
Thanks for your kind attention; I will be looking forward to your answer.
Best regards,
Virna

Hi
It is a brand new hub 2.
● I am in the Netherlands
● The issue started from the first time I used it. Never played for more than about 15 min.
●No always the same issue. TuneIn is installed on the same tablet as the Home App. I gave the command "HEY GOOGLE, PLAY RADIO 1 on TuneIn" @ the Hub and it starts playing ( for a short while)
● yes ,and automatic update is on
●yes, updated from the play store
●yes, updated from the play store
●yes, same wifi network
●It is connected to a Tplink Deco network with 2,5 and 5 GHZ. It suports both.
●Yes it is.
Kind regards
Henk

Hi Henk-hub2,
Thank you for your timely response and the comprehensive information you've provided.
Based on the information you provided, I would recommend performing a factory reset on your Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen). Please follow the next steps:
After performing the factory reset, it will be necessary to set up your Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen).
Please let me know how it goes,

Done so several times. No result. Same problem continous. Also tried diferent places in house and different Wifi networks. Same result. It stops. Sometimes after a few minutes sometimes a bit longer. No sound and on screen it looks like it is playing.
I realy think this is a software problem.

Hi Henk-hub2,
Thanks for keeping me in the loop about the steps you have taken to resolve the inconvenience between the sound and image that continues showing on your Google Nest Hub 2 when you try to stream Radio 1 using the TuneIn app. I’m happy to continue helping you.
At this moment, based on the settings features available for your country, Netherland, I could find that it is necessary for you to get the TuneIn premium service to improve their performance on your Google Nest Hub 2.
Feel free to keep us posting if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Virna

Dag Henk.
I have the same problem and I am also in the Netherlands. In my case it even announces it right after starting to play 'dit apparaat stopt na anderhalve minuut' or something along those lines. I have mentioned that before on this forum but, like this thread, the 'specialists' only came up with the default 'reset it, set to factory, try again,' crap.
Furthermore, the devices also suddenly 'forgot' the names of some radio stations as well ( try to let it stream 80's80's radio for a bit of fun, you'll end up with anything BUT that station). The digital form of alzheimer that the devices seem to suffer from ( that's AI working for you .. ) is a recurring event. And after a while ( weeks/months) it may actually start playing it again. Ony to forget it again as well. Bottomline: TuneIn on the nest devices is a very fragile implementation. Dont rely on it to to do what you ask it to.
ps. The last suggestion to get premium Tunein service is just a load of BS, as we say here: zoethoudertje
