I have several google homes and nest hubs, they suddenly started displaying the wrong time today, my phone is displaying the correct time
I restarted one of the hubs
I resetted to factory one of the hubs
I went to google home settings, and allowed the location to be on all the time (instead of only when the app is in use)
I gave permission so that the google homes can check if someone is in the house
I changed the location to my exact address
i think the only thing I haven’t done is erasing ALL my devices and factory resetting them ( I have way too many devices, so I am trying to do all that is possible before this)
i have erased for the home app and then resetted one device

We have the same issue, and can’t figure it out either. Our TVs and my hubbys android phone was also wrong, but were able to correct both of those.

How many of you guys are from Mexico? I just started to get this issue today because whatever time server nest devices connect to didn't get the memo that daylight savings isn't a thing anymore

Nest Display - showing wrong time and outside temp

I tried something, didn't have much success with it but it did change something. Maybe it'll work for you guys.
Go into your Google Home app, pick the settings icon under your household name. Select the "Home Information" option and then change your Home Address to somewhere else with a totally different time zone. Wait like 10 seconds and then ask your hub for the time. If the changes work it'll say the time in the new time zone, changing the displayed time on the screen after a few seconds.
After this go into the Home app, change it back and repeat the process. Hopefully it changes the time displayed to the correct one.
Personally this didn't work for me, time on the display is still one hour off, despite Google saying the correct time out loud when asked, but it will hopefully work for someone.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I appreciate for sharing some steps. I'd love to dig deeper into this. A few questions: where are you located? Which specific Google Nest Hub do you have (1st, 2nd gen, Hub Max)? What is the current firmware version? Are you having issues with alarms? Does it tell you the right time when you say, "What time is it"?
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

I'm in Mexico City. I'm experiencing this on my three 7 inch Lenovo Smart Displays and one 10 inch Lenovo Smart Display.
The firmware on the 10 inch reads as follows on the Home app:
System firmware version: OIMK.211005.001 Cast firmware: 1.56.285116
On the 7 inches they all read as:
System firmware version: OIMK.211005.001 Cast firmware: 1.56.285116
When asked the time it says it correctly and shows a screen with the correct information but as soon as that screen is dismissed the clock is one hour off. When asked for alarms it sets them up correctly and they sound on time but it will display the incorrect time despite saying the correct one out loud.
This all started Sunday when daylight savings time was supposed to take effect, except it isn't a thing anymore since last year. It even was news that day in the country that several devices changed time automatically despite it no longer being in use.

Same issue from Guadalajara, Mexico. The thing is that starting in 2023 the government cancelled "Daylight Savings" so we are using CST not CDT. The Android devices are still applying the CDT changes

I can imagine that today you know about the magic update published yesterday.
This issue was fixed on the best display, I don't know if the rest of the devices are working properly now.

Haven't had that update yet and the displays still show the wrong time. Is this update supposed to be client or server side? What firmware does it apply to? Is there anything I can do to force the update?

Hi ddrm,
The current firmware version of the Nest Hub is 9.20221010.3.176. Please check your device to confirm. For users located in Mexico, the issue is still ongoing but rest assured that our team is on top of it.
