We just changed our modem/ wifi settings.

We restored factory settings on nest hub but it won't connect to new wifi.

What are we missing please?

Thank you

Hi Chrisandp,

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us.

I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should and we appreciate the troubleshooting that you did. A few things: what is the exact message that you are getting from your Google Home app during setup? What is the distance between your Nest Hub and your Wi-Fi router? Are you using a dual band router? If so, have you tried both bands? Are there any other networking devices on the network aside from the wireless router, such as an extender, repeater, or other access point?

You can do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest hub for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Juni
