Google nest hub

I removed my Google nest hub remotely while on vacation.  Can I put it back on remotely?

Since you have to use your phone to scan the QR code that displays on the Nest Hub during setup, I don't think so.

Hi Angie4,

MplsCustomer, is correct. Both your phone and your Nest Hub should be on the same Wi-Fi network and location for changes to be done. To further isolate, are you not home? When you removed your Nest Hub, was it physically available? It would help a lot if you could tell me how you remotely removed your Nest Hub while on vacation?

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan, I removed the Google Nest Hub from the Google Home App while I was away from my house.  I thought that I could remotely put it back on to reset it!

Hello Angie4,

Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. Currently, the only way to reset your Nest Hub is to do it physically by pressing and holding the volume bottom on your device. You also need to be beside the device to set it up.
