Google nest mini not connecting to wifi

Hi, My google nest mini speaker (gen 2) was working then for no reason it stopped. I have tried a factory reset and also found on a thread the trouble shooting suggestion of unplugging the cord then waiting for all 4 lights to come back on then unplugging the cord again and repeating this 10 times. 
this has not solved the problem. When I try to connect it I hear the chime but it will not connect to wifi. My other one works perfectly.

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. What’s the message you’re getting whenever you try to connect the Google Nest Mini to the Wi-Fi? Is your router dual-band? If yes, have you tried connecting your Google Nest Mini to both bands?

 

Try to reboot your router. Then, uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app. Perform another factory reset before trying to set up your Google Nest Mini device. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Alex, thanks for your reply. I have already tried to connect on both bands, I have also tried to connect through hotspotting to my phone, I have uninstalled and reinstalled google home, and have rebooted the router and reset the mini (multiple times) -all are tips I got from the community. Nothing works. Google home picks up the mini, asks if I want to connect, I can hear the chime, I select the wifi, put in the password then it tries to connect to wifi but says it is unable to connect. It is weird that one works fine and this one can’t connect.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I bought it in either November or December for a Christmas Present from OfficeWorks. 
My router is a Vodafone wi-Fi Hub, however I have also tried to connect it with a different router with no success.
